Check out this year round market open on Thursdays from 10am-4pm. The market is located at Pelican Beach Park, 1525 N Hwy A1A Satellite Beach. We are pleased to offer produce, honey, herbs, soaps, jams, baked goods, gluten free baked goods, craft items, artwork, jewelry and much more. Satellite Beach PAL Family Fest
Looking for an evening out with the family? Visit our Food Trucks for dinner the 3rd Friday of each month from 5-9pm at the DRS Community Center. PAL Youth Leadership Program will host a KIDZ KORNER with crafts & games for the kids. PAL will also have beverages for sale. September 29 and October 13 Money 101: All The Things You Don't Know
Your teen can recite the quadratic formula but can he/she balance a checking account? Today's teens keenly feel the lack of learning around subjects like budgeting, college loans, taxes, credit scores, much more. Junior Achievement's proven programs will empower them to own their economic success by presenting curriculum in a fun, interactive and experiential way! This 2 part program, for ages 15-19yrs old, is held at the DRS Meeting Room from 9am-12pm. Course is FREE but you must RSVP to Junior Achievement of the Space Coast at email@example.com.
September 29 PAL 17th Annual Super Bunko
Bunko is an “Adults Only” game of dice and you can learn as you go! Sponsored by the Police Athletic League (PAL) to benefit their youth programs. Teen Zone doors open at 6:00pm (dinner included!) and dice roll begins at 7:00pm. The night includes a silent auction, Chinese auction, prizes and fun. Get ready to geek out at your library! Brevard County Libraries will host a FREE mini comic convention featuring comics, cosplay, gaming, and more! Enjoy this community pancake breakfast at the SB Civic Center from 8am-12noon. Tickets are $5 each and can be purchased in advance at the PAL office, SB Rec Dept, or from a Lions Club member.
October 12 Cardboard Box Car Night***
Rev Up for Movie Night! Come to the Teen Zone 6-8pm to decorate your cardboard car in preparation for our Food Trucks & Movie on the Green. Bring an empty cardboard box to make and decorate your car. Decorating supplies will be provided (paper plate wheels and steering wheels, tin foil mirrors and windshields etc)! Bring your own design ideas or we will provide some examples and instructions. Parents must stay with their children. Bring your car back Oct 19 for a “car show” at 7pm and “drive in” movie of Cars 3 at dusk!
October 19 Food Trucks and Movie on the Green
SB Rec & SB Pal are joining forces for this fun night! Decorate a cardboard car to enter into our “car show” prior to our “drive-in” movie! Make your car at home or join us Friday, October 12th for a Cardboard Box Car night at the Teen Zone***. Purchase dinner from local food trucks, serving from 5pm-9pm in the DRS parking lot. There will be “cardboard car show” and kid’s activities prior to the movie at dusk. Bring your own blankets or lawn chairs and enjoy a movie under the stars with family and friends. Featuring a FREE showing of the movie Cars 3!
October 20 Teeny Bopper Halloween Costume Party
It is party time at the Teen Zone! Join us for our Annual Halloween Teeny Bopper night. There will be a costume parade and prizes. No reservations needed, just come 6:30-9:30pm and pay $5 at the door. Ages: kindergarten-6th grade.

The SB Lions Club joins forces with Satellite Beach PAL to bring you this free event! Beginning at 3pm, a “spook parade” will walk west from the SB United Methodist Church to the Teen Zone where there will be activities including music, dancing, refreshments, games & prizes. November 3 Satellite Beach Founders Day & Marketplace “Seas the Day”
Join the City of Satellite Beach and the Satellite Beach Woman’s Club as we celebrate our Annual Founders Day and Marketplace, featuring more than 100 craft and specialty vendors, flea market and bake sale at the DRS Community Center. Along with the days’ activities, the community will enjoy a parade of local clubs, groups and organizations all decked out in a “Seas the Day” theme. The parade steps off promptly at 11am from the Delaura Middle School parking lot off Jackson Ave., winding through SB streets ending up at the DRS Community Center. December 1 Ocean Reef Beach Festival
Celebrate the ocean lifestyle with conservation and recreation displays, activities and hands on learning! Over 90 exhibits and vendors including food trucks, local ocean artists, live music and more! The event is free and will be held from 10am-5pm at Pelican Beach Park. Proceeds benefit Surfrider Foundation and Anglers For Conservation.
December 4 Phone Call from Santa’s Elves
The Satellite High School Jr. ROTC will provide calls from Santa’s Workshop. Parents can call the SB Rec office at (321) 773-6458 to arrange for their child to receive a call from an elf. Mailed forms and calls are accepted through Mon, Dec 3 at 5pm. Santa’s elves will call only on Tues, Dec 4 from 5-8pm EST to any child in the Continental U.S. Print off the form “Santa Calls” online from: http://www.satellitebeach.org/departments/recreation_department/forms.php.
